Pavel Plánička
Within INVISORY, Pavel is responsible for implementing complex sales or acquisition processes and supporting clients in key strategic decisions involving financial modelling, company and project valuations, and strategic and financial analysis. He has long focused on M&A transactions, business development, evaluation of investment opportunities, and project management.
In his previous position, he helped Raiffeisenbank a.s., develop its investment banking and capital markets activities for 10 years, where he worked in Corporate Finance as Associate Director. Pavel has worked on dozens of M&A transactions and advisory projects for the bank’s clients and the bank itself, focusing mainly on transactions of companies from the SME segment in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. He has also been involved in bond issues of major Czech companies such as Česká pojišt’ovna and CPI. He was a direct contributor to the launch of Raiffeisen Group’s M&A advisory in Slovakia. Among other things, he was also the officially authorised advisor for NewConnect, the start-up and medium-sized enterprise market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
Pavel started his professional career at Gillette Czech, where he worked with the Finance and Customer Service department. Subsequently, he expanded his professional competencies within the expert institute of BDO Appraisal Services, where he was responsible for preparing company and asset valuations and related financial and strategic analysis in various industries as an Analyst. Parallel to his work at the expert institute, he also worked as a lecturer at the University of Economics in Prague.
